About me

Hamza Goumri, CPA auditor and founder of HGM CPA Inc., an accounting firm in the Quebec City area that serves small and medium-sized businesses and nonprofit organizations (NPOs). My career combines two complementary areas of experience: the rigor of in-firm auditing and the day-to-day realities of corporate finance management. While working at Big Four firms, I conducted and supervised audit engagements for organizations across various sectors, while also leading teams of auditors. I then held positions as a controller and chief financial officer. In these roles, I led accounting teams, managed budgets and cash flow, handled financing initiatives, and supported senior management in analyzing results and making strategic decisions. I have also contributed to projects involving restructuring, process automation, and the modernization of accounting systems. Through HGM CPA Inc., I bring this experience to serve your organization. The firm offers bookkeeping services and comprehensive accounting cycle management, corporate tax services, and payroll management. Our accounting and financial management support includes management financial statements, budgets, cash flow forecasts, profitability analysis, and the preparation of financing proposals. The firm also offers compilation engagements, review engagements, and audit services. My approach focuses on understanding the issues behind your numbers, explaining your results, and helping you evaluate your options. I prioritize a direct relationship, rigorous follow-up, and technological tools that simplify your management. I hold a master’s degree in business administration (accounting) and a DESS in public accounting from the University of Sherbrooke, as well as a master’s degree in finance from IAE Lyon (Jean Moulin Lyon 3 University), earned as part of a dual-degree program with HEM Business School.
